Welcome to the mission »Exploration Mars«! Together with a team of experts you sent the rover Rosa to Mars. Rosa has landed safely, and now it's your job to program and send her on an exploration tour. In 17 exciting levels, you'll set out to find traces of water and biological life on Mars.
You've never programmed before? Don't worry! Thanks to a visual programming language and lots of support from your space buddy Dalia and the smart robot lady Roberta, you'll get started in no time. Step by step, Rosa and you explore the »red planet«. In the process, you'll learn not only how to program Rosa's movements, but also how to use sensors to explore the planet. But watch out! NEPO Missions was developed by the Fraunhofer educational initiative »Roberta® - Learning with Robots« in collaboration with »Gentle Troll Entertainment« and with support from the Google.org Impact Challenge. The app is based on the open-source programming platform »Open Roberta Lab«, which is developed by Fraunhofer IAIS in Sankt Augustin (Bonn) and enthuses millions of people worldwide for programming.
